Baked Apples with Orange PHILADELPHIA

What you need

  • 6 Pink Lady apples
  • 3/4 cup fresh breadcrumbs
  • 1/3 cup pecans, chopped
  • 1/3 cup dried figs, chopped
  • 1 1/2 cup orange juice
  • finely grated rind of 1 orange
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons honey
  • 3/4 cup water
  • 185g PHILADELPHIA Light Spreadable Cream Cheese
  • 1/4 cup orange juice, extra
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons honey, extra
  • finely grated rind of 1 orange, extra

How to make it

  1. SLICE each apple in half and scoop out the core. Combine the breadcrumbs, pecans, figs, orange juice, rind, and cinnamon.
  2. SPOON  mixture onto the top of each apple. Place into a baking dish and drizzle with honey, then add water to the dish. Cover with foil and bake at 160ºC for 20 minutes, or until apples are tender. Remove foil and bake a further 10 minutes.
  3. COMBINE the PHILLY, orange juice, honey and rind until smooth. Serve apples with baking juices and Orange PHILADELPHIA Cream.
