What you need

  • 2 cups self raising flour
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup butter, melted
  • 1 x 55g egg, lightly beaten
  • 1 cup milk
  • 2 small bananas, roughly chopped

Caramel Sauce

  • 250g block PHILADELPHIA Light/Regular Cream Cheese, softened
  • 3/4 cup brown sugar

How to make it

  1. SIFT together flour and cinnamon. Add sugar, butter, egg, milk and banana. Mix until just combined.
  2. SPOON mixture into well greased 1/2 cup capacity muffin pans. Bake at 200C for 20-30 minutes or until skewer comes out clean.
  3. BEAT PHILLY and sugar until smooth. Pour into a small saucepan. Gently heat, without boiling, stirring until a sauce of pouring consistency is formed. Serve warm sauce over hot muffins.
