What you need
1 tablespoon oil
1 small onion, finely chopped
250ml PHILADELPHIA Original Cream For Cooking
1 cup milk
3 cloves garlic, crushed
125g Parmesan cheese, grated
Salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste
1 orange sweet potato (kumara), peeled and cut into 2mm thick slices
1 celeriac, trimmed and cut into 2mm thick slices
3 parsnips, peeled and cut into 2mm thick slices
1 potato, peeled and cut into 2mm thick slicesÂ
How to make it
HEAT the oil in a frypan and sauté the onion for 3 minutes. Remove, cool slightly and then combine with the PHILLY, milk, garlic, cheese and seasonings.
ARRANGE half the sliced vegetables in a greased 2 litre casserole dish. Pour over half the PHILLY mixture. Repeat with remaining vegetables and PHILLY.
COVER with foil and bake in a moderate oven 180
o
C for 45 minutes. Remove the foil and cook for a further 30-45 minutes or until the vegetables are tender. Serve immediately.
