Mexican Style Pancakes

What you need

  • 1 egg
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 4 thick slices white or sweet flavoured bread
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 4 medium bananas, halved lengthwise
  • 80g PHILADELPHIA Spreadable Cream Cheese

How to make it

  1. COMBINE egg and milk; mix.
  2. DIP the bread slices in the combined egg and milk mix. Allow the bread to soak up the liquid
  3. HEAT a frypan and fry the bread over medium heat until both sides are golden brown. Keep warm.
  4. Wipe out frypan and reheat frypan over medium heat. Add butter and sugar and stir until combined. Arrange bananas in the frypan and cook on both sides until golden brown and sugar has caramelised.
  5. Spread the toasted bread with PHILLY and top with bananas. Serve immediately.
