Moroccan Scrolls

What you need

  • 2 cups SR flour
  • 2 teaspoons Moroccan spice
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 30g butter
  • 1 cup grated carrot
  • 3/4 cup low fat milk


  • 125g PHILADELPHIA Spreadable Cream Cheese
  • zest of 1 lemon
  • 1/2 teaspoon smokey paprika

How to make it

  1. SIFT dry ingredients into a bowl, rub in butter. Fold through carrot and milk until a soft sticky dough is formed. Knead on a floured surface until smooth.
  2. ROLL to form a rectangle 20 x 30 cm, spread with PHILLY and sprinkle over the lemon rind and paprika. Roll up on the longest side, as for a Swiss roll.
  3. CUT into 3 cm slices and place cut side up on a greased baking tray. Bake at 200°C for 15-20 minutes or until golden.
  4. SMOKEY Lemon Philly: Combine all ingredients.
