Peach and Strawberry French Toast

What you need

  • 1 cup milk
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 4 large slices sourdough bread
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 2 teaspoons oil
  • 100g PHILADELPHIA Strawberry Light Cream Cheese
  • 2 peaches, cut into wedges (or 400g can peach slices, drained)
  • sliced strawberries, to serve, optional
  • toasted flaked almonds, to serve
  • maple syrup, to serve

How to make it

  1. WHISK together the milk, eggs and cinnamon. Dip bread slices into mixture then place onto a plate.
  2. HEAT half the butter and oil in a 26cm non-stick frying pan over medium heat. Cook 2 slices of bread for 2-3 minutes each side until golden. Remove and continue with remaining butter, oil and bread.
  3. SPREAD toast with PHILLY, top with peaches, strawberries and almonds. Drizzle with maple syrup then serve immediately.
