Pear Galettes with Vanilla Cream

What you need

  • 2 pears
  • 1 sheet puff pastry dough, cut into 4 squares
  • 1 egg white, lightly whisked
  • 1 teaspoon caster sugar
  • 125g tub PHILADELPHIA Light Spreadable Cream Cheese
  • 2 tablespoons light cream
  • 2 teaspoons caster sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla essence

How to make it

  1. PEEL, core and slice pears keeping attached at the stem end. Place each onto a square of pastry, fanning out at the base. Brush each pear and pastry with the egg white, and sprinkle with sugar.
  2. BAKE on a lined oven tray at 200ÂșC for 15 minutes, or until golden and pear is tender.
  3. MIX together the PHILLY, cream, sugar and vanilla until smooth.
  4. SERVE galettes warm with PHILLY cream.
