Quick Microwave Banana Porridge

What you need

  • 1 1/2 cups quick cooking oats
  • 2 cups hot water
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 cup banana, mashed

Light Philly Topping

  • 125g block PHILADELPHIA Light Cream Cheese, softened
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 tablespoon fruit juice, e.g. orange, lemon, peach

How to make it

  1. COMBINE oats and water in a large mixing bowl. Microwave on HIGH for 5 minutes.
  2. STIR in the milk and banana; top with a delicious dollop of Light Philly Topping and fresh fruit.

Light Philly Topping

  1. COMBINE all  ingredients.
  2. COVER and refrigerate, use as required. Serve with hot peaches, banana porridge and other breakfast cereals and stewed fruit.
