Quick PHILLY Tikka with Chicken

What you need

  • 2 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 500g chicken thigh fillets, cut into 2 cm cubes
  • 2 large onions, sliced
  • ½ cup tikka paste
  • 440g chopped tomatoes
  • 300g can tomato soup
  • 125g PHILADELPHIA Light Spreadable Cream Cheese
  • 4 cloves garlic, crushed
  • 1 teaspoon brown sugar
  • Steamed rice, for serving
  • Coriander leaves, for serving

How to make it

  1. HEAT half the oil in a frypan and brown the chicken well. Remove from the pan and set aside.
  2. HEAT the remaining oil in the pan and sauté the onion for 3-5 minutes or until softened. Reduce the heat then add the paste and cook for 1-2 minutes until fragrant. Return the chicken to the pan with the tomatoes, soup, PHILLY, garlic and brown sugar then simmer for 10-15 minutes or until the chicken is cooked through.
  3. SPOON the chicken over the rice in serving bowls and sprinkle with coriander leaves. Serve immediately.
