What you need
1 bulb of garlic
2 tablespoons olive oil
1½ teaspoons cumin
1 teaspoon ground coriander
440g can chickpeas, rinsed and drained
250g PHILADELPHIA Spreadable Light Cream Cheese
1-2 tablespoons sweet chilli sauce
Salt and pepper, to taste
Turkish bread or pita bread, toasted for serving
How to make it
CUT the top off the garlic and place on a baking tray, drizzle with half of the oil and bake in a moderate oven 180°C for 30 minutes or until softened. Cool then squeeze garlic from the skin.
HEAT the remaining oil in a small saucepan and cook the spices over a low heat for 1-2 minutes or until fragrant. Add the chickpeas and cook a further minute.
TRANSFER to a food processor with the garlic, PHILLY, chilli sauce and seasonings and process until smooth. Spoon into a serving bowl. Chill. Serve with toasted bread.
