What you need

  • 500g chicken mince
  • 125g PHILADELPHIA Block Cream Cheese, softened
  • 1/2 onion, finely diced or grated
  • 1/2 cup fresh breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup sweet chilli sauce
  • 1/4 teaspoon coriander leaves, roughly chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, crushed
  • 2 teaspoons ground cumin
  • 2 teaspoons ground coriander
  • 1 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 1 teaspoon garam masala
  • salt & pepper
  • 1/2 cup flour
  • oil for frying
  • 6 ciabatta rolls, halved
  • 1 baby cos lettuce, washed
  • 1 red capsicum, cut into thin strips
  • extra sweet chilli and coriander leaves for serving

How to make it

  • COMBINE mince, PHILLY, onion, breadcrumbs, sauce, coriander, spices and seasonings. Mix well. Divide into 6 and form into burgers.
  • DUST burgers in flour. Heat the oil in a large frying pan or on a barbecue plate. Cook burgers for 4-5 minutes each side over a medium heat until cooked through.
  • ASSEMBLE the lettuce leaves, and capsicum onto the base of each roll. Top with the burger, coriander, sweet chilli sauce and top of the roll. Serve immediately.
