What you need
500g chicken mince
125g PHILADELPHIA Block Cream Cheese, softened
1/2 onion, finely diced or grated
1/2 cup fresh breadcrumbs
1/4 cup sweet chilli sauce
1/4 teaspoon coriander leaves, roughly chopped
2 cloves garlic, crushed
2 teaspoons ground cumin
2 teaspoons ground coriander
1 teaspoon ground ginger
1 teaspoon garam masala
salt & pepper
1/2 cup flour
oil for frying
6 ciabatta rolls, halved
1 baby cos lettuce, washed
1 red capsicum, cut into thin strips
extra sweet chilli and coriander leaves for serving
How to make it
COMBINE mince, PHILLY, onion, breadcrumbs, sauce, coriander, spices and seasonings. Mix well. Divide into 6 and form into burgers.
DUST burgers in flour. Heat the oil in a large frying pan or on a barbecue plate. Cook burgers for 4-5 minutes each side over a medium heat until cooked through.
ASSEMBLE the lettuce leaves, and capsicum onto the base of each roll. Top with the burger, coriander, sweet chilli sauce and top of the roll. Serve immediately.
